www.lovefilm.com

Love Film is an online movie superstore with over 65,000 titles to choose from. You choose the films online and they are posted first class to your home, this means no more indecisiveness in the video shop! The best part of this site is there are no late fees, as a very busy working mum it is great to not have to worry about this!

www.imaginationcubed.com
www.imaginationcubed.com

Imagination Cubed is a creative drawing website that allows you to compose an online picture using different tools. This is a really good way to stay in touch with friends and family who live far away, we’ve used it to send home made birthday cards online. My little boy Billy loves using this site with me and it’s fun.

www.brownsfashion.com

Browns is one of London’s boutique’s I use most when doing personal styling jobs. I was pleased to hear that this Autumn Browns is exclusively stocking Ossie Clarke and Balmain’s ready to wear collections which I think will do really well and they are also still carrying Roland Mouret whose designs my clients always go crazy for.

Those who know me well have noted that I am rarely out of my Ugg boots. The last time I needed to replace my well-worn and very loved boots I found that, although they were sold out in London, they were thankfully still available online. This saved the day, as a comfortable, stylish boot is essential when I am rushing about to meetings.

I love to use the Internet to keep up-to-date with current news stories; it enables much more accurate and updated information than newspapers. My boyfriend travels a lot so it is useful that I can get news updates on the countries he is in, especially in the current climate. It is not always possible to have the time to read a paper from cover to cover.

www.arckiv.net

Arckiv is a museum of quality vintage eyewear, including sunglasses and goggles which are all for sale. A lot of the samples are used in theatre and film. They are currently building their website but they have an online magazine where you can view samples. If I ever need to wear reading glasses this is the first place I will be going.

Woolworths is an old British favourite and will always have obscure things I am looking for like a heart shaped coffee mug or an old-school Spiderman costume for Billy. I’m doing up my garden and they have an amazing range of outdoor furniture which is so unbelievably cheap and really great quality.

www.fashionexchange.co.uk
www.fashionexchange.co.uk

Fashion Exchange is a new online auction site that has been set up by a young stylist with a bursting wardrobe. It works in a similar way to ebay but there are only fashion items up for auction so you don’t have to trawl through car exhausts and chipped china to find that vintage Chanel bag!

www.flickr.com

Flickr is photo heaven, it’s a library of hundreds of peoples photographs. It is an amazing source for research or just to catalogue your own personal photos. Once you start putting in names of your friends it is a bit like entering a time warp because before you know it an hour will have passed. It’s a photo-lover’s dream.

www.re-foundobjects.com

Re Found objects is like an online treasure chest of household items. It is perfect for buying gifts or for just treating yourself to something new. They have a great re-cycled section and the vintage cake stands are good for teatime treats, I’ve had lots of compliments on my one.
